Some call it the place to be, others find it posh and elitist, but this multi-faced venue has always played a key role in the local culture scene of the city. The girls are all dolled up and the guys look smart as DJs play their tunes in the classy ballroom with its red velvet sofas and wooden panels. The musical programme though, which had become somewhat jaded in recent years, now seems to moving towards a much cooler, more edgier, dance music programme, in particular with a focus on the best new names breaking through in deep house. If you like the more minimal side of Ibiza's club scene you might find yourself heading to Kaufleuten more often than you think.
